HOUSING AND REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT

Central Florida Strategies is the government consultant of choice of many developers working on high-profile, multi-family and retail projects in the Central Florida region. Our firm provides clients with knowledge of the local real estate market that we have acquired in more than a decade of active participation in the industry as well as  access to key decision makers.

Since 2008, our firm has been engaged by a number of developers, architects, contractors, engineers,
owners, real estate attorneys and brokers and others looking for winning government relations strategies and solutions. Our scope of work includes the following:

  • Advocating for projects approval on land use and zoning changes
  • Assistance in obtaining building plan reviews and issuance of building permits
  • Negotiating reductions and/or deferrals of impact fees and other development fees
  • Negotiating the funding of public infrastructure by local government.
  • Advocating for real estate friendly legislation, including the adoption of new policies and local
    ordinances

CONSTRUCTION

Central Florida Strategies has worked as a government consultant on behalf of national and local construction firms on projects in various publicly-funded sectors including, aviation, educational facilities, county and municipal infrastructure and transportation. In addition, we have represented firms involved in private development in the areas of residential and multi-family, as well as  retail and commercial construction.  Our experience includes representing both program management and construction management firms.

TRANSPORTATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS

Central Florida Strategies has represented several national construction management engineering on the awarding process of government work. Some of these projects include:

ORLANDO AIRPORT EXPANSION- A $250 Million CM at Risk project awarded by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority for the new South Terminal awarded in 2016.  In 2015, Central Florida Strategies helped secure another project at the airport, this time a $200 Million CM at Risk project for the construction of the intermodal for the new south terminal.

MARDEN ROAD INTERCHANGE- An $ 8 Million interchange project privately funded interchange and which required approvals by the Central Florida Expressway Authority and the City of Apopka

POINCIANA PARKWAY- Awarded by the Osceola County Expressway Authority in 2013 to become the Program Manager/CEI for the $110 Million Road road to connect Poinciana to I-4.

OSCEOLA PARKWAY, PHASE 2- An $18 Million CM at Risk road widening project awarded by Osceola County Government in 2012.

NOLTE ROAD– A $20 Million CM at Risk road widening project awarded by the City of St. Cloud in July 2010.

OSCEOLA PARKWAY, PHASE 1–  A $12 million CM at Risk road widening project awarded by Osceola County Government in August 2009

EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES

Central Florida Strategies has worked as a government relations consultant on behalf of multiple national, regional, and local firms involved in design, program management and construction of educational facilities. Our services have included consulting on procurement matters during specific pursuits of K-12 and higher education projects, resulting in the awards of over $1 billion worth of projects throughout Central Florida.
