Transportation is a main driver of economic development in the region and Central Florida Strategies is proud to have provided government consulting services for several clients involved in the planning, design, and construction phases of large scale transportation projects. In addition, we have represented real estate developers with transportation related and access issues at the County level and with the Florida Department of Transportation.

We have been an active participant in the efforts to improve efficiency to local governments through alternative transportation delivery methods, such as construction manager at risk, and design-build. Our work includes consulting on transportation-related private public partnerships (P3)

Examples of recent projects using the Construction Manager at Risk Method include:

• Osceola Parkway Project- a $12 Million road widening project in Osceola County.

• Nolte Road- a $20 Million road extension in the City of St. Cloud.

Central Florida Strategies has been supportive of the efforts to help bring Sun Rail to Central Florida. Our clients include real estate development firms involved in mixed-used “Transit-Oriented Developments” (TODS), along the rail corridor, as well as, planning firms involved in creating new and innovative projects in the Central Florida region.
